I guess an example of how well this works would be walking into my sons room and seeing dust float through the sunlight streaming in.I placed this in his room and the air was soon clean.We also use it in our living room.Not that we are closed up for the winter it makes me feel a lot better knowing that I have something that is helping clean the air.Now only that but the air that comes back out of it is cleaner.There is a charcoal filter to help fight odors.Which is a plus when cooking.
