These magnets came as titled, 10 n48 magnetized through length so the poles are at the ends. Description is misleading as it says lot of 30 but I doubt many people read the product description.As far as refrigerator magnets these things are setup the wrong way. Having been magnetized through the length the magnets are strongest sticking 1 inch out of the refrigerator. If you are using the magnet on its side you will find that these are nothing to write home about and will naturally try to stand itself upright when you try to remove it. But at its most ideal I would estimate it would require a force of around 6-10 lbs to remove. Well worth the money if you have the proper application.
