I bought a 6 pack of these Frigidaire water filters so I would have enough to last 2-3 years.
They can be used for approximately 6 months before needed replacement. I did notice that the
filters really should be changed maybe around 4-5 months instead. The signs of it needed changing
is when the water flow seems slower and the stream is not as forceful as normal. They are very
easy to remove and replace in my Frigidaire side by side. When I saw how much Lowes wanted for
the same filters, I decided to purchase these on Amazon from a trusted seller.
I highly recommend these filters for general water filtering.
If you want a special filter that removes all chemicals including Fluorine, be prepared to
spend a lot more.

Frigidaire PureSource II Water Filter 2 Pack Review

The replacement info isn't detailed enough to ensure this is the correct filter for our Frigidaire refrigerator. When I replace the filter last time with this one, it came out strong, but then went down to a trickle pretty quickly. This time, after replacing the filter with a new one, it came out only as a trickle, taking up to 2 minutes to fill an8-oz. glass of water. I think the size is off my a very small amount, or it gets filled up too easily with sediment to work properly. I'll pass on the cost savings and buy the manufacturer's replacement part so I can get water in a reasonable amount of time.

We have an almost new Samsung side-by-side and the refrigerator side stopped cooling. When we called in the repairman he told us the compressor was not working and it would cost us $1000 to fix it because of course its not under arranty anymore. This refrigerator is only a couple of years old. I read more reviews on-line with tons (yes tons) of people expressing the same problem as well as many others. Also, when you call Samsung for help they treat you like it's your problem not theirs. What kind of company can knowingly sell people this highly overpriced garbage with a clear conscience? Frigidaire WF1CB Replacement Filter, 1 Pack Review

The Ice and Water Filter for our Frigidaire fridge lasted only 5 months for us, when our water from the fridge started tasting weird (chlorine-tasting). Replacing the used filter was also a snap, no tools required.

WF1CB is supposed to replace RG-100, which fits all PureSource equipped refrigerators produced after April 2001. It has a rated capacity of 6-9 months, or 400 gallons, whichever comes first.

PureSource WFCB Water Filter Review

We did not receive the product advertised.

The advertisement states you will receive a "Frigidaire PureSourcePlus Ice & Water Filter (WFCB, 46-9906)". The product did not come in a Frigidaire PureSourcePlus package...just plastic wrap. I installed the filter and the water came out jet black. I ordered two of them so I tried the second filter, and the water was jet black again. This has never happened with Frigidaire filter.

I checked the invoice and it said they are Frigidair WFCB/RC-200 "Compatible" Replacement Regrigeragor Water Filters. If the company is selling a "compatible" filter, and not the manufacturer's filter why does the Amazon site describes and has a picture of the Frigidaire filter?

I e-mailed the company and they replied "Thank you for your order and email. From your description your new filters need to be flushed."

I ended up spending a lot more money and bought a Frigidaire filter but the water now does not taste the same.

This has been my worst online purchase experiences with Amazon.

In addition, while we did not request a refund the company subsequently wrote back and stated that they would credit our account since we were not happy with the purchase.While the company's customer service department was prompt and responsive, the Amazon website description should reflect the item being purchased in order to avoid confusion.

Samsung DA29-00003A Replacement Water Filter by Water Sentinel Review

Samsung is rated at 500 gallons or 6 months; this one is rated at 300 gallons or 6 months.Go figure.
Price is about 40% less than Samsung (200 gallons less = 40% less so you get what you pay for).
I typically use this product for up to a year and taste is still pure, not even chlorine taste.
Previous reviewer who said it tastes like pee must have his water hooked up to his toilet.

I purchased two of these filters as replacements for my Samsung fridge.The part number shipped was the DA29-00003B, which I think is also compatible with the DA29-00003A as well.It worked flawlessly in my fridge (Model RS2556SH).I recieved my order in the mail 3 days after purchase (regular USPS delivery)!
They are brand new genuine Samsung filters, which is a great deal for the price.The local Best Buy was charging $45+tax, so this is a good bargain.

If you own a Samsung Fridge and are purchasing this product, you already know how your filtered water and ice taste.

I was not really happy with the price of this filter, but after wasting a lot of time on-line looking around for the part at a cheaper price, I came back to Amazon.Beware that other cheaper parts online are not always Samsung origional equipment manufacturer. (OEM)

I don't have personal experiece with these particular non OEM part, but experience with other non OEM have not always been pleasant.

This is the origional OEM part with a sticker sheet included to track the next time you'll need to replace the filter.

I have purchased parts from other online retailers typically with no problems.On the few occasions that I have had a problem you are pretty much on your own.Buying through Amazon is worth the literal few pennies you might save purchasing from other retailers.

4 stars becaue I feel the product is too expensive for what it is.

The ($40 plus shipping) price of these filters has become absurd.Amazon still offers a competitive price, the best you'll find on the internet for the OEM part.I installed a reverse osmosis water filter under my sink and put a T connection in to run filtered water to my fridge.The RO system delivers far better water quality than the Samsung filter.By running filtered water to the fridge I figure I'll get longer life from my Samsung filter and won't have to change it so often.My RO system uses 5 filters in a year.These 5 filters cost a little more than one Samsung filter.
